Cusano has recently announced the release of the Cusano DSG (Dominican Sun-Grown) which should be available for retail sale this April.  This cigar is the first release seen from Cusano in nearly two years.  He has not released any new lines since he introduced the critically acclaimed Cusano 18 Paired Maduro.  The DSG is made with a rare Dominican Sun Grown wrapper which encases a complex blend of all Dominican tobaccos.  Many of the rarest and most highly rated cigars in the industry boast a similar wrapper, including Fuente Opus X, La Aurora 100 Anos and Litto Gomez Diaz.  The move by Cusano is a clear statement proving he can compete with any other cigar maker in the industry.  In true Cusano tradition; the cigars will be priced at a great value of about $5.00 a stick.  When asked how the new DSG would compare to other premium smokes, Cusano Cigars replied, “this cigar will change your outlook on premium hand rolled cigars. The DSG has everything: flavor, body, quality and value.”  Be on the lookout for these remarkable cigars later this year.  If you are a fan of the Cusano line, then the DSG is a must buy.

I had the chance to burn a few of these over the past few weeks. I have to say, it's an incredible cigar. Smooth as silk and layered with creamy, bold flavors. I am looking forward to my local receiving his shipment, as he was chosen as one of the appointed dealers.
