Yup,  Cigar Insider said Vision is "outstanding!"  Unfortunately, I have not personally smoked one yet and therefore I cannot possibly put fourth my own input, but here is some more information regarding the new CAO Vision.  I'm running out of room on my "to smoke" list...

CIGAR INSIDER ‘SEES’ CAO’S VISION AS “OUTSTANDING”

Vision Becomes CAO’s Ninth Brand To Receive “90” Rating

CAO, one of the world’s foremost premium cigar manufacturers, was awarded a ‘90’ rating (“Outstanding”) for its latest release – CAO Vision – in the March 27 edition of Cigar Insider.

Cigar Insider is the bi-monthly newsletter published by Cigar Aficionado magazine, widely recognized as the ultimate authority of the premium cigar industry.  The first Dominican-made cigar from CAO, Vision was lauded for its “lush, creamy wrapper” with “very woody…roasted nut flavors and an earthy finish.”  CAO Vision becomes the ninth brand from CAO to receive a ‘90’ or above rating from Cigar Insider and Cigar Aficionado, a feat that is unmatched by any other cigar manufacturer.  “We are extremely proud of this recognition,” remarked CAO President Tim Ozgener.  “We had been interested in adding a Dominican-made cigar to our portfolio of brands for a long time, and Vision is the culmination of years of effort towards creating what we finally deemed as the perfect blend for this cigar.”

Packaged in humidified boxes of 20 cigars, CAO Vision is available in three shapes:  Catalyst (5" x 50), Epiphany (6" x 50), and the torpedo-shaped Prana (6 ¼" x 52).

What is the price of these cigars? They're hyped enough! I love CAO MX2's, Brazilia's, and Criollo's.

Well, some time has passed since the release of the Vision and I wanted to post an update.  I've seen prices for the Vision starting at $190 and ending at $350, all for a box of 20.  Unfortunately, I feel the Vision, although a great cigar, does not deserve to be so costly.  I have a feeling, and I'm shooting from the hip here, that the price is so high due to the humidor/box that accompanies it.  I liked it, but feel very uncomfortable paying $12 or more for a stick.   Give me some CAO Brazilia's and I'll be on my merry way!
