ok so here in the pacific northwest we are having a bit of a heat wave, coming from california believe me i know this is not what hot really is, today it was 97 degrees.  thats probly hotter than its been in 50 years.  20 degrees above normal.  so last week i moved into this new apartment, top floor, last couple days i get home and my apartment is 90 degrees inside.  naturaly i get concerned about my cigars.  tonight i was going through them inspecting each stick.  when i opened up my box of el cobre an insect flew out!!  the box has been sealed at the bottom of my cooler'dor for many months.  i dont know what else it could have been but a tobacco beetle.  up here in the pac NW, we dont believe in air conditioners as heat like this only lasts a couple weeks.  so i had to move all my cigars to the damp, smelly musty basement in my storage unit.  i really dont want to keep them in that dungeon but until i can find a better place i dont have a choice!!!  please say a prayer for my babies tonight!!!
