So far, I've come across two Montecristos that I like. One is the Edmundo, the other is the Montecristo EL 2005. As you might expect, ordering these is far and few between.

On a whim, I picked up a box of the new Montecristo Media Noche...mainly because of the Edmundo size it provides, which is slightly larger than the Cuban variety.

This cigar is great. It's dark, toothy and leathery. The flavor is toasty and woody, like sweet cedar, with a long, pleasantly sweet finish. About midway through it becomes significantly stronger, and becomes quite rich. The sweet cedar becomes more oaky, swarming my palate with a rich coating of flavor. Very nice.

I am very happy I picked up this box. Although I'd like to say I'll be sitting on them for a while, I have been smoking 1 or 2 a day. Yeah, I'll be getting another box very soon.

with a very cool Montecristo 70th Annivesary ashtray.

Since smoking the Media Noche,it is in the rotation of maduro's
